Choudhury on trial

The trial of Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury on charges of sedition (he has written favourably of infidels including Israel, and criticised devout maniacs) started today in Bangladesh.

I wrote about this here, and Norm has posted about it today. The American Jewish Committee is organising a campaign to have him free, though I wonder if they shouldn't be working through an umbrella organisation less transparently-named.
