Adolf Hitler. What a laugh!

Who was Adolf Hitler?

"a weakling who only made it to the top with the help of the Jew Grünbaum."
Part of the plot outline for Mein Führer: The Truly Truest Truth About Adolf Hitler, a comedy by the Swiss director, Dani Levy, who is, unsurprisingly, Jewish.

I have often wondered if the best way to deal with extremism is not just to laugh at it. It is my reaction to adolescent histrionics, to which it is surely related. Laugh at anything with more than two superlatives in a paragraph, or that speaks of final solutions to anything, or even implies salvation in this life, or that sanctifies one group of people, or elevates them to supreme victims, or demonises another group. Don't smirk. Laugh.

There's more about the film here.
