Expectations

Why do people expect so much? Tell me that.

Who expects most: the ones that pay you or the ones that love you?

Why is procrastination so vilified when it is by far the best method of increasing leisure time?

Why is shame inextricably linked with non-performance? How can the link be broken?

Hope crystallises into expectation.

The death of hope can kill you, whereas the death of expectation is merely a disappointment. We know all about that and we survive it.

Beautifully put, Anon.

I was actually referring to others' expectations of me. May I use you to justify my disappointing them?
